Native Media Sales was founded by industry veteran Michael Austin. Michael has spent more than 25 years representing industry leading line such as EAW, AMX, Crestron, Symetrix, Monster Cable, Audio Design Associates, Triad Speakers, Mackie and many others. He has also served on many representative councils and advisory boards for many manufacturers.

Several years ago Michael was beginning to see a shift in how the technology within the audio/visual business was being conducted and how the manufacturers representatives needed to modify their model in order to continue providing the highest level of service, support and value for their partners. He felt the "legacy" role and model of a rep firm was in dire need of change. Dealers, consultants, end users and even manufacturers have been forced to change how they interact, deliver support and information.

So Michael has taken the step is launch Native Media Sales to help bring innovative changes and exciting new business model to the manufacturing world. For years many firms simply added lines, and in some manner became nothing but a line card, providing very little expanded value to the manufacturer, dealer and consultants.


Native Media Sales understands that all elements of the industry could benefit from a firm with a clear mission statement to become true business partners with all facets of the industry. Manufacturers need a true business partner to help educate and spread their message proactively. Native Media Sales will be featuring technology to provide a very aggressive program for continued face time, information availability, education of product, business and even marketing to benefit all business partners in the industry.


Native Media Sales has created a business model that will embrace technology on a daily basis. After all technology is what our industry is all about. By using these tools to everybody's advantage they will be able to offer immediate action to become that invaluable link between the field and the manufacturer. It's 2011 and yet we still have industry partners that don't know how, or care to use social media, webcast for education, electronic newsletters and continuing education programs currently in development.
